I am so glad you have joined the journey of 10,000 songs! My husband, Glenn Case, was the originator of the idea among our little group of music fanatics and it has become such a fun voyage... This has become the most amazing tool to create your ultimate mix CD for long trips and such. By picking only one song every day you really get your true favorite songs. You don't have to come up with 20 songs for a mix CD. You just create an amazing collection of favorites day by day. And just think, in 27 + years you will have an unbelievable collection of music to look back on and appreciate. And all who know you and who know your love of music will be able to look back at your catalog and see what the soundtrack to your life was. To see who influenced you or who/what made you happy. Keep it up! But keep to the "rule" of thumb if you can... one song a day. If you miss a day or two no biggie, but don't try to play catch up because it takes away from the true concept which is to pick the one song that really moved you or suited you for that day. ;) I hope you continue your list until the end!
